Cause of Agony

"Really?" She looked at him surprised as she let one of her hands feel the wall while the other felt her forehead. He was right, she felt warm, which was never a good sign. "I guess youre right." As she realized that he was concerned , she couldnt help but smile. "It's sweet that you care so much."

He smiled warmly at her, but knew she was wrong. It was stupid, that was what it was. That was what he was.
"Wake me up if you start to feel bad tonight okay?" He didn't quite know why he cared so much, but seeing how much she suffered, all to save some guy, he didn't have the heart not to try to help her every way he could. He didn't know what he could do to help, but whatever it was he'd probably do it.

She felt her heart flutter again and her cheeks blushed slightly. Why did that make her blush? Why did he? She nodded her head gently. "Sure. Thanks..." she hoped he didn't notice her blush. No way she could easily explain that.

He frowned again as he noticed her face turn redder.
"You might want to put that back on, your face is getting warmer," he said concerned, not realizing it was a blush and not a sign of illness. He had told himself he wouldn't bother her any more about dressing up, but his worry had blurted it out for him. Better safe and annoying than sorry and sick, right?

She frowned, not wanting to zip her suit up, but if he would keep bothering her about it, she might as well. Zipping it up once more, the silence fell on them again. Unsure of what to talk about. But she was glad he didnt realize it was a blush.

He realized it was silly. If she were to get sick she would regardless of how she dressed now. Perhaps if she actually did get sick she would listen a bit more when he tried to help her, instead of frowning at him. To tell the truth, the frown felt rather bad. He was used to people frowning and looking down on him, but it still felt bad.
"So..." he said, trying to keep the awkward silence at bay, but he realized he only made it worse by acknowledging it.

She regretted frowning at him now. It was obvious that he was sort of upset by it. "So...do you have a girlfriend or something back home?" It was probably a testy subject but they had to talk about something. Hopefully he wouldnt be mad at her for bringing it up.

He shook his head slowly with an amused smile. It wasn't for his lack of trying.
"Not exactly a ladies' man," he said and chuckled at himself. It was pathetic really how horrible he were with women, but he supposed she already knew that. He hadn't been any better with her exactly. She must already think of him as an idiot, and he was sure that if they weren't stuck in a room together she'd already have left.

"Youre not to bad. You certainly have the looks and all." She gestured to his whole body, then looked into his eyes. She bit her bottom lip, nervous about his reaction. Hopefully he wouldnt be offended, it was more of a compliment. He was handsome though. Just his appearance made her want to get all over him. Her face turned slightly red again imagining it before she quickly pushed the thoughts away.

He let out a breathy laugh before he looked at her again.
"I suppose it's my personality then. Yay me," he joked and chuckled, but he was rather serious. His awkwardness and stupidity was enough to drive most anyone away. Specially her, who had seen his behavior in the last game. He was still rather embarrased about that. Everyone else had acted so cooly and smart, whilst he had only flailed around the place and made everything worse for everyone.

She smiled and rested her arms by her sides, not noticing her hand rested ontop of his. It felt warm and comforting against her cold skin. As soon as she she saw the look he was giving her, and realized it, her face flushed red and quickly pulled her hand away. "S-sorry, I didnt mean-" she felt so embarrassed she had to look away from him.

Normally he'd probably smile at how she seemed as awkward and shy as he felt, but now something caught his attention. "Your hands are freezing, are you sure you're feeling okay?" he asked and took her hand back to feel it. When he confirmed that it was indeed cold and he hadn't just overreacted due to worry he squeezed it in between his two to try to warm it.

She gave him a shy look when he took her hand in his again. "I'm fine.." It was true. She hasnt felt sick since she woke up in this cell, and she was grateful. But she had been sitting for a long time, who knew what would happen when she stands up.

"Oh, okay, sorry," he said quickly and dropped her hand. He felt stupid now for grabbing it like that.
"I-I must be bugging you," he said and rubbed the back of his neck. He was always bugging people. If only he could figure out how to stop. But that was him he guessed. Clumsy and awkward.

"No-no, youre not bugging me. It's actually pretty nice." She felt awkward but it was true. He was good company, no matter how awkward or clumsy he was. It was cute. And she liked him for that. "It's cute how you care and all." A smile came to her face, trying to be reassuring.

He smiled back. If she was honest that was somewhat of a first. Chel had claimed to like him, but he wasn't stupid enough to believe it was for anything but his body and a quick fuck. Had she been roomed with any other male, it would have been the same story. Not that he complained, it had been nice.
He looked around the cell again and sighed. "I didn't think the cells could get this bad..."

She looked around the cell once again, taking in her environment. "I was hoping they wouldn't be this bad.." Her voice trailed off as she thought about what she feared the most. Her nightmares would definately take a toll in this cell. She shuttered at the thought of night coming. If Dimitri witnessed one of her nightmares, he would probably want to stitch cells as soon as possible...

"Where do you want to sleep?" he smiled jokingly. There was no place to sleep but the cold, hard floor. He was still kind of serious however. He barely knew her, and he wanted to give her some space. So if she wanted to sleep in the corner furthest away from the skeleton, he'd probably pick another corner. Not that he particularly wished to stay any closer to the dead person than she did.

She looked around the cell, trying to choose a spot. "I'm fine wherever. If you don't want to sleep by the skeleton, I will." Her eyes traveled blankly around the room, with an almost blank expression.

"Well, it's skeleton or dead kitten," he said and chuckled trying to ease the tenseness between them, but failing. She seemed out of it, but he supposed he couldn't blame her. He'd been pretty out of it too when they first woke up. He assumed it only too a bit longer for her to react.

She gave him a half smile and stood up, walking over towards the skeleton. "We can switch off or something if you want." Sitting down, she unzipped her jumpsuit once more, letting it fall around her waist. If he wasn't so akward, she probably would have stripped down to her panties and tank top. The jumpsuit was really getting on her nerves, she felt like she was restricted and hated that feeling.

He sighed, but forced himself not to care anymore. If she wanted to be stupid and stubborn, sleeping in her underwear on the cold floor when there was already a great possibility she was sick, then he couldn't stop her. And he'd offered her the choice of sleeping place, so he wasn't going to argue her on that point either. He just considered himself lucky and went to the other corner of the room by the dead kitten.
The already dim lights went out as soon as he sat down, and he'd almost smile at the good timing if it wasn't for the bad mood he was in right now. How could anyone be in a good mood in this place anyway?
"Good night then," he said, sounding pleasant. Though he was in a bad mood it wasn't her fault, and he wasn't going to take it out on her. That wouldn't be fair.

She frowned as the lights went out, dreading when she would fall asleep. He was acting sort of upset, and she could detect a hidden tone in his voice whenever he spoke. It was probably because she kept taking her jumpsuit off her shoulders...oh well. It would be impossible to sleep while being so uncomfortable. "Goodnight.." she said softly, laying down on her side with her back facing him.
A few hours passed before her eyes finally gave in to the weight of sleep. No matter how hard she tried to prevent it, she had to sleep eventually.

[OOC: Sure, we can do a new topic If you want suggestions, you could either do a nightmare, or just not being able to sleep because your back hurts, so you keep waking up, or she could turn seriously ill during the night. You could do whichever you want ^^]

(OOC: I'm tempted to make her have a nightmare and get sick but I don't want her to scare Dimitri away xDD)
