This time when Mulan woke up, she stayed down. She didn't have the energy to get up. Or to move. Or to breathe. She'd worn herself out and she knew it. She was tired. She was so tired of everything. Problem after problem it felt like.
Mulan lifts her hands and starts to undo the braids Jamika had done. They were tight and uncomfortable. Reminded her of a tight braided updo her grandmother often put her in... when everything was still good. When she finally finished she looks over to her right. There was another female. With bitches come stitches.. Aiko said to her once. Why couldn't she get a guy? Maybe then she could figure out why she lost to the asshole in the ring. Mulan stands to get on one of the beds.
In Mulan's experience, it was pretty accurate. With all of the bullying there were always stiches. None for her, of course. Mulan smiles softly before closing her eyes again. Of course.
