PostSubject: Esmeralda Levitt   Esmeralda Levitt EmptySat 29 Jun - 22:24

It was all he could do not to stare as the guard let in his fourth prisoner. Sure, he had seen her pictures, but they didn't do her justice. The fierceness in her eyes made him impatient to break her down, see her soul and her tears, see her repent for her sins. How he would love to start their little game right then and there, but he kept back and smiled politely at her.
"Levitt, I hope I didn't make you wait for long," he said, knowing very well that she would be just as bored if not even more so when she was led to her cell. At least there she'd have a cellmate. He supposed that would fight off some of the boredom.

Esmeralda had been waiting too long, it annoyed her. Why did she have to wait? Weren't they just asking everyone stupid little questions? Why were they taking so long? The impatience inside of her caused her to unzip the top of her orange jumpsuit, and tie the sleeves around her waist. This showed her white, skin tight tank top underneath perfectly. When she did this, she saw countless of stares which made her smirk. Some of the stares looked at her in awe, while others in disgust. She gave a good stretch, before sitting back on the floor and continued to wait, again.

When her last name was suddenly called, and handcuffs were on her once again, she walked with the guards. When one of the guards squeezed her arm, she smirked, "Hey honey, mind being a little sweeter on me. Don't want to bruise me too early do you?" Esmeralda cooed, before getting pushed by the guard and told to shut up. This caused her to laugh as she continued walking down the wall. Though, the happy expression suddenly turned into a cold one. For she could see the door now, the door they were bringing her to, the door that held the person that would ask her all the important questions. They would probably tell her to obey the rules too, the question was; would she? Probably not, which was why she was going to enjoy making this interview a game.

The moment the door opened, her eyes immediately met the man's glare. Her bright, piercing green eyes stared at him. The moment he spoke, it caused her to smirk, "Nah, making me wait for two hours isn't that long." Esmeralda said sarcastically as she sat down. The smirk staying on her face as she waited for the man to either react to her, or ignore her statement and go on to business.

"Don't you worry, I'm sure things will be so much more entertaining in your cell," he chuckled at her. At least it will be entertaining for me. "Your cell is located in the B division, cell number 3. It's a bit of a walk, but you seem rather fit," he smiled, not really caring if she took the hint or not. He wasn't here to flirt with her, but he noticed her interesting way of dressing, and figured attention was just what she wished for. He'd love to give it to her, only to take it away from her later on.

"Probably." Esmeralda said, replying to his statement of how she'll be more entertained in her cell. "Anything is better than waiting in that wretched room." She said, leaning forward a bit, placing her arms on the table. Sadly she couldn't really relax with the handcuffs around her wrists, but she was going to try. When the man told her where her cell was, and how she seemed to be fit, she smirked. "Well walking is a good way to exercise. It's also stealthy if you play your cards right." Esmeralda cooed, before flipping a bit of hair out of her face.

When a bit of silence fell upon them, she leaned back and gave a serious expression. "So, what now? What else do I need to know? Cause I'm pretty sure that it didn't take two hours to just tell people where their cells were." Esmeralda suddenly spoke out, not caring if she was going to get punished for saying that. All she cared about right now was how long she waited and how he was just telling her small things. It annoyed her in a way, but she still wanted to have a bit of fun with it.

He leaned back in his chair and glanced down at the papers in front of him, checking her number.
"Your number will be D13217. You better hope to learn it quickly, as it will be used more than your name. You will have two meals a day to share with your cellmate. If you wish to complain, you can, but no one will care. Is that understood?" he asked smiling. It seemed a pleasant enough smile, but the sternness in his voice gave him away.

"D13217." Esmeralda repeated, before repeating it in her head. When he spoke about her having to share her meals, it didn't even phase her. Why would she be bothered with sharing her meals? Not like she hadn't done that before. The moment he spoke about her complaining she smirk, "There'll be no complaining from me." She said instead of telling him she understood. She knew he was in charge, and she knew she wasn't allowed to step out of line. Just because she was acting like this, doesn't mean that she was stupid. This was how she was. There was no way she was going to be pathetic and tell him she understood, how she felt sorry about what she did. Cause to her, it was common sense she knew where she lied. Also to her, she did nothing wrong, the drugs were the ones that caused the deaths.

Esmeralda tilted her head and let a bit of silence fall again. What was he going to tell her next? So far all of this was boring, and she just wanted to go to her cell now. Though, she knew it was far too early for that to happen. It was clear he was going to keep her here as long as he wanted, and while he did, she would make sure to keep herself entertained. She let out a bit sigh, and blew a little piece of her bang out of her face. She didn't want anything blocking her eyesight. Esmeralda wanted to keep looking at the man straight in the eyes. No broken contact at all.

He smiled, she was a smart one. He wondered how far that would help her. Surely it would keep her alive for a period of time, but it wouldn't be painfree, no matter how smug she looked right now. He couldn't wait to get that smile off of her face. Just a little bit longer now, and the games shall begin...
"Maybe you'd like to tell me a bit about why you hate these men so much?" he smiled politely.

Esmeralda raised her eyebrow, before smirking as she lowered her head to look at the pictures of both the men and women "she" killed. After a bit of examination, the smirk slowly faded. Her eyes slowly looked up at the man, her eyes filled with hatred, "Because they complained about having a horrible life. That they didn't have enough money, that their families hated them, that they weren't enough!" Esmeralda snapped. She was now leaning forward, glaring at the man. "All of them were stinking rich, but even then they wanted more! They were ungrateful! Do you know how many people wished they had their lives? How they wished they had what they had? And there they were, complaining they didn't have enough!" She yelled, swiping the pictures of the victims off the table.

"They were nothing but ungrateful, pieces of shit!" Esmeralda hissed as she continued to stare at the man. Her eyes holding nothing but hatred, but it was clear she didn't hate him, she hated the people who killed themselves. "Those fuckers deserved to die!" She snapped, before leaning back as her expression slowly softened. Though the cold expression was still there, and she didn't even look at the photos that were on the floor now. Now they were completely gone from her life.

So she thinks money makes happiness...
"Calm down, suger, they're all gone." He had to laugh at her reaction. It seemed a bit excessive right now, after they had all been dead for months already. He had been right about the fierceness though. And he liked it.

"Oh, I know they are gone, but it doesn't mean I like seeing their ugly faces." Esmeralda retorted, finding herself a bit annoyed she even saw those faces again. She then went completely silent, she needed to calm herself down. She needed to keep her cool. As she calmed down, her eyes stayed fixated on his. Slowly, but surely her expression turned into a calm one, and she was in a better mood. Without even thinking of the faces anymore, she let a small smile show. Now she was thinking about the next question he would ask.

"So, what's your next question sweetie?" Esmeralda asked with a hint of sarcasm when she called him sweetie. As she waited, she kept herself calm, ignoring every time the pictures of those people would pop into her head. She needed to stay cool, and stay in command of her body. For if she let all of herself out at once, then he would know more about her, and he already knew too much. Way too much. Esmeralda knew what was in the folder in front of him, she knew it was all about her. As she waited, she adjusted her top, making the wrinkles in it fade as she pulled it down. She then proceeded to once again, flip her hair away from her face. She wasn't use to it not being pulled back by her purple scarf. So it bugged her a little bit that it was all falling in her face.

Might be bipolar. That could be interesting to experiment with...
"You will respect your authority figures, you will stay quiet after 11pm and you will in no way violate or discomfort your cellmate. Stick to these rules, and I am sure we will have no trouble with you," he smiled calmly, almost reassuringly, but if she could have only read his mind she'd known he was already planning all the things he could do to harm her.

Esmeralda listened to the rules, finding it a bit amusing how she had to respect others. What if they didn't respect her? Would she have to ignore their rudeness and go on like they were right? A smirk formed on her face as she tilted her head. Her piercing green eyes staring straight to his, "I'll respect both my cellmate, and the authorities as long as they respect me as well. If they do, I'll be glad to show them respect. So don't worry, there'll be no problems from me." She cooed as she laughed softly. Esmeralda was having so much fun with this, it was unbelievable. Usually she would tell someone there was no way she'd listen to them, but this was different. To her, this was a game to see which person could she piss off the most.

Esmeralda moved her right leg over her left leg, giving the man a smart ass expression. In a way she was respecting him, so why should he get mad at her? All of this wasn't new to her, so why act pathetic like some of the other prisoners in this prison? She wasn't going to say sorry, and she wasn't going to beg for forgiveness. All the people who died because of her drugs deserved to die. To survive the way all of them were going to live from now on, they'd have to be strong. If they weren't strong, they would never get use to this kind of living. To Esme this was a game, cause once again.. she has been placed in jail.

He smiled, he would just have to wait until someone stepped out of line then. Then he would have an excuse to play with both of them. Not that he needed one, but it was always fun to remind the prisoners how weak, pathetic and helpless they really were behind these walls. His prison, his rules. They obey, or they die. Which didn't matter to him.
"Any questions, Levitt?" he asked with false courtesy.

"Yes, one in fact." Esmeralda immediately answered, before leaning forward a bit, but instead of being far from him. She decided to lean a bit more closer to him. When she got a bit comfortable with how she was leaning over the table, she smirked. Her eyes full of fierceness, but also a bit seductive. Now, she wasn't trying to seduce him, this was how she always looked at someone.. Though, the only people who saw this look was her victims. After a few more seconds of making him wait for her question, she finally spoke. "May I ask what your name is? I can't be calling you man every time I see you. It'll be too improper.." Esmeralda stated, tilting her head with a bit of a laugh.

"You know? Plus, you know my name, so it's only fair if I got yours in return. Right?" She asked as her smirk widened.

In his peripheral vision he could see the guard in the corner taking a step forward, but he kept his eyes on her. He wasn't worried, she looked scrawny enough, he knew she was nothing to be afraid of. The mere idea of her trying something seemed ridiculous and stupid, he was sure she was smarter than that at least.
"Korso," he let her know before he broke eyecontact to look over to the guard.
"Escort miss Levitt to her cell."

Esmeralda's smirk immediately widened at his response. This caused her to lean back with amusement. "Pleasure to meet you, Korso." She said, before turning her head from him to look at the guard who was now standing by her side. For a moment she sat there, before finally standing up. The moment the guard grabbed her arm, and tightened the hold on her, something sparked in her eyes. "Sweetie, you better be a little more gentle to me.. You'll bruise me." She cooed, before laughing as the guard forced her away from the table. The moment she reached the door, she immediately stopped and looked back at Korso.

"Once again, it was a pleasure meeting you, Korso. Hope we meet again." Esmeralda smirked, before looking immediately in front of her to walk out of the room with the guard. Though, the moment she heard the door shut was the moment her pleasant expression turned into a cold one. She couldn't wait to get to her cell now, she hated the guard that was bringing her to her cell. He had a tight grip, and it was hurting her. Not that she minded the pain, she just hated when people got rough with her. All she could do was ignore the tight grip and look forward to meeting her cellmate.

I hope my roommate is entertaining..
