THE POINTS SYSTEM

I figured I would re-invent the point system we had in 10 Doors ^^ You can exchange your points for certain advantages and perks in the game, such as getting to choose your next cellmate, or if gaining enough, gain a second character for the game ^^
The point system works so that you are given points for everything you do of specific interest in the game. Here is what will gain you points and how many:

Writing a fanfiction: 3 points
Making a fanart: 5 points
Creating a video over a minute long: 10 points (shorter videos will be given fewer points based on their duration and quality)
Winning a game: Varying depending on what the game is (will always be informed in the task section in the topic of the game)
Being most active of the day: 12 points

Points can be awarded for several other things as well, if it has been informed that points could be given out for it.
Here is what you can exchange your points in, and what the different things will cost you:

- Nice meal for your character (which meal is a surprise) || 200points
- Clock for a cell of your choice || 250points
- Soap, toothpaste and other toiletries for a cell of your choice || 350points
- Escaping the Isolation Cell before your time in it is up || 375points
- Deciding your next cell || 400points
- Deciding your next cellmate || 550points
- One phonecall to another cell || 450points
- One therapeutic animal (lasts until the next cellmate swap) - Which animal is a surprise. Could be a puppy or a bird or something else entirely || 660points
- A meeting with Korso || 750points
- Immunity (from death) for a month || 800points
- A second character || 1500points

*NOTE: Suggestions for more prizes will be taken into consideration*

I'm thinking about making one, but it'll be a while since my computer decided to wipe everything off of it D: So now I need to find my harddrive and hope that my laptop will work till I get everything fixed...

I'm in the midst of writing a second fanfiction. Does my first already give me points or is this starting at a certain date?

@Megara: You could put it in the gallery under a new topic you create called "Megara's Videos" but you don't have to do that. All I'm asking is that you put it as a videoresponce to this video so that I have all the videos connected and easy to find for everyone ^^

Just curious, but how do you determine exactly who is most active for the day? Smile

If you go to the bottom of the main forum page, in the bottom, right corner there will be a link saying "Today's top 20 posters". Whoever is on the top of that list will gain most active of the day. However, if I have noticed that day that all the person's posts are spams and OOCs to other topics, I might not approve it and may go for the person 2nd on the list instead ^^

Having a second character would be fun. I have a great idea for one but I might save it in case if there's ever a second season Wink

I know right! But I'm on vacay, so no editing programs so I'm just gonna be writing fanfics all day I don't even care! Lmao

Right so now I just need to make a video that is 150 minutes (two and a half hours) long and I can have another character. xD

It might take me a few years.. since my audition video was like 15 seconds. So yeah, better get started now! xDD

*NOTE: This hasn't been specified before, but it might be good to know: You are allowed to give points away to other people. Simply state in the Points List who you wish to give points to, and how many points you wish to give, and I will transfer them.

Kay I wanna rephrase lol, So if I were to do a four minute video, I would get forty points? What about the seconds? Do we get like .5if it were 3 minutes and 30 seconds?

If your video is a minute long it will most likely recieve 10 points, half a minute 5. But it also depends on the quality. Not that your skill level interest me, but I need to see you've made some effort instead of just putting random clips together with song.
